      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have used 172.20.14.0/24 network for my esxi management interface. and now i am going to use 172.20.15.0/24 network for my VMs. but when i assign an IP address from that range my VM it is not going to connect with the physical world. but if i use 172.20.14.0/24 IP address for a VM, it is working fine. What may be the issu?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 4 uplinks to the physical switch and all those four ports are configured as trunk links. how do i configure the trunk ports from the virtual switch end?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;network diagram is attached below..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please reply me...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any vlans in place for the different subnets on the physical switch?&amp;nbsp; If so you will need to configure the vSwitch portgroup with the correct corresponding vlan.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Juts create a port group on the vSwitch1 for the appropriate vLAN ID's&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Once you created the port group EDIT the VM or white creating the VM Choose the appropriate port group&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
