I am provisioning Autocad Civil 3D 2019 right now, and it has just past the 2 hour mark ...

The task manager CPU utilization is almost flat-line around the 0 - 1% range, but I do see a small amount of activity with the appstack disk. See screenshot.

It isn't just Civil 3D that I am seeing this slowness. I'm having to deal with it on many of our engineering applications that I am attempting to provision. Some provision fairly quickly, however.

I'm using:

Windows 10 Enterprise 1803 with current Microsoft updates. disabled or stopped most unnecessary services, such as Defender.

App Volumes 2.16

vSphere ESXi 6.7.0 build 13473784

vCenter Server Appliance 6.7 U2 (6.7.0.30000)

All-flash vSAN, NVMe-based Dell R740 server cluster

Installing the app the same provisioning VM without App Volumes provisioning mode doesn't take very long at all.

Something is severely killing provisioning and I'm not sure where to look. I must be missing something obvious. Suggestions?

Thank you.

Brian
