Thanks.

Unfortunately 2.13 introduces other issues related to writables so I had to roll back our agent to 2.12.1 until 2.13.3 comes out.

damned if you do; damned if you don't.

Appreciate the heads up though.

I also took the 1709 update so I'm just going through the motions now so i know how to test to make sure the things are fixed when they say they're supposed to be fixed.

If the appstack was attached with the logon process, some of the Windows apps were missing!

Our solution was the registry key VolDelayLoadTime, we set it to 5 seconds. This is the time required after logon process to delay volumes attachments.

We think we solved our problem with the Windows 10 start menu failing to open.

We first set the Registry Key "VolDelayLoadTime" to 5 seconds. As described above, we could open the start menu after 20 seconds.

Now we set the "VolDelayLoadTime" to 10 seconds. The start menu works fine at the moment. We are still testing though.

sappomannoz, have you gotten any response on that SR?

I'm also having this issue on one of my two installations, which makes no sense to me.

My environment:

server-side:

ESXi 6.0 build 3568940

Horizon 7.0

AppVol 2.10

image/VDI side:

Win10

Agent 6.2.1 (Agent 7.0 doesn't work with smartcards & zero clients- we've got a case open on that)

‌Hullo,

my Sr is still open. A workaround for search to work, is to give administrator rights to the logged in user. I'm waiting for 2.11 like everyone else
