    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I usual use a dedicated SCSI controller for all RDMs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And add each RDM one by one (make a rescan to each ESX every step).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A dedicated folder could be useful only if you make a cluster between two VMs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Andre&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>RDM Configuration (Best Practices...)</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Folks,  when attaching multiple RDM's on a VM, would you add one RDM per vSCSI adapter, or would you add multiple RDM's to the same vSCSi adapter? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also,  when creating the RDM would you keep it with the virtual machine, or store it on a seperate datastore (RDM pointers)? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just looking for some best practices.  &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
