Looks like you cannot have the same port group name in the one vCenter, so I will have to create a new port group and just name it differently then add VMkernel ports to it.

I have 2 clusters in my vCenter, CLUSTER-MGT & CLUSTER-NSXT. CLUSTER-NSXT has VLAN 1017 configured to be used for storage connectivity while CLUSTER-MGT is using iSCSI for storage thus using a different VLAN/Port Group.

I need to remove the iSCSI storage from CLUSTER-MGT and replace it with NFS storage by adding a VMkernel for Port Group 1017 so that the hosts in the CLUSTER-MGT can have NFS storage.

How do I connect the Port Group 1017 to the CLUSTER-MGT hosts when it already exists on the CLUSTER-NSXT hosts?

I tried to export the Port Group Configuration and import it into the CLUSTER-MGT dvSwitch but got the error that the Port Group 1017 already exists- I assume you can only have one Port Group with the VLAN ID 1017.

vCenter 6.7U3q
