In order to permanently remove this replication entry you need to have the following permissions on the protected VM/VC folder

Virtual machine.Replication.Configure replication

Host.Replication.Manage replication

In case the protected VM/VC is not available I think that is the reason you can't remove the entry.

If that is the case this should be addressed upcoming releases.

Are you administrator on both sites? You need certain privileges (the ones listed above) in the source site, in order to be able to stop replication.

Hmmm... this become more and more interesting. I assume you are using VR 5.1.0.1 right?

By the way, is the VM that has been replicated still in the inventory? If yes, you need to check if there is anything in the logs. Otherwise, it just guessing.

Till then, just in order to clear the replications list, if your VM is still in the inventory - you can remove it and add it back. The removal process, will trigger in the VR server replication removal, thus it will dissappear from the incoming/outgoing replications list.
