Downgrade of vSphere 8 Essentials to 7 and later upgrade possible?

Hello,

is it possible without extra costs to downgrade the licence and later to upgrade it again to version 8?

Same question for VCenter essential 8.

I just did this with my licenses. We purchased new vSphere licenses and I downgraded them to version 7 and I still have the option to upgrade them back to 8.

Yes it's possible to downgrade and upgrade later. Just do it via the licensing portal or contact your vmware rep and they'll sort it
