I am seeing some network performance issues mainly when i am transfering files accross the network. The devices/components involved in the transmission are Server--->Network Switch----> Netgear ReadyNAS Pro. The VHD for the server are stored on the Same nas that i am copying the data to. I can copy data from the NAS to a workstation and i get around 25Mbps. When i start the copy from the server to the NAS it starts at about 12/Mbps but slows down to 3/Mbps. it looks like maybe the buffer on the network adapter is getting full or somthing of that nature. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Processor = Intel Xeon 5405 @ 2.00GHz

NICs = Broadcom Netxtreme II BCM5708 1000Base-T x 2

Thanks,

Ryan Burney
