    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We are running VMware ESX 4.1 U2 across 8 hosts are we are planning to up upgrade it to 5.5, however we are running a few Windows 2012 servers which I know are unsupported using the "hack" from &lt;A href="http://jgiffard.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/windows-server-2012-on-esxi-4-1/" title="http://jgiffard.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/windows-server-2012-on-esxi-4-1/"&gt;Windows Server 2012 on ESXi 4.1 | Jon Giffard&amp;amp;amp;#039;s Blog&lt;/A&gt; and we are wonderign if these will have issues during the migration as they will become supported once on 5.5.&amp;nbsp; We will be testing this on our test envirmonment, but I'm wondering if someone has been through a similar scenario?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I faces same issue with Windows 7 on ESX 4.1 deployed using SCCM 2012. I also had to use this "hack" to do it. Now after migration to 5.* it is working fine. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Consider vmx "hack" cleanup after migration to 5.5.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
