      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;As Davoud said,you need to turn off the usbarbitrator in the host so that USB is made available only to the hosts,not to the VMs inside.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then using mount command you can mount the USB.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are using an ESXVM,then you need to turn on usbarbitrator on the host.By default usbarbitrator will be on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Right click the VM -Edit Settings-Hardware -Add-&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;USB controller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then Add USB device also.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Use mount command for mounting&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope this helps!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-SatyS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please award points by marking helpful/correct answer&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
