Hi

Today I suddenly I lost contact with one of my vdp appliances. I connected to it successfully this morning but later in the day I was unable. Can't see that anything has been altered that could cause this behavior.

The message when I try to connect from the web interface is: "An unexpected connection error occurred and the cause could not be determined. Please check your VDP configuration screen to troubleshoot or contact an administrator"

In vdp configure all services are running OK but I get this message: "Failed to get the datastores with performance analysis information"

I've checked if the user is not locked for some reason, and have tried to reenter the password from vdp-configure: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2077725

When I try that I get the following: "Error occurred during configuration" and "unable to find this VDP in the vCenter Inventory"

I have tried restarting the appliance twice but without any luck.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Regards

Ola
