topic E1000E interface resets in VMware vSphere™ Discussions

Hi,

in event viewer windows 2019 guest vm I see this:

The network interface "Intel(R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection" has begun resetting. There will be a momentary disruption in network connectivity while the hardware resets. Reason: The network driver detected that its hardware has stopped responding to commands. This network interface has reset 129 time(s) since it was last initialized.

VM has configured network adapter E1000E, what could I do to resolve this issue?

Curious - Any particular reason why you're using an E1000E NIC over a VMXNET3?
