Good day

I have configured a 3 host vSAN cluster with High Availability feature. When I test the High Availability functionality, I get a "General vSAN error" message on the list of recent tasks. However, VMs are able to migrate successfully to another host from the shutdown host. Please assist in mitigating this error.

This is expected behaviour as the alarms are informing that the data Object states changed from compliant to reduced availability due to putting a node in MM with Ensure Accessibility option.

Bob

I have noticed the General vSAN error while removing the disk from the disk group from vsphere GUI. You can follow the command line steps as mentioned in kb https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2150567
