    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have read in some docs when you enable vSAN encryption only new data is encrypted.&amp;nbsp; I thought it performs a rolling reformat and then moves the data back, so all data would be encrypted..&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://communities.vmware.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1966345"&gt;@Gaprofitt17&lt;/a&gt;, Perhaps you are confusing this with deduplication? Because that is true for deduplication, but not true for encryption.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
