Ricky El-Qasem (Systems Engineer)- with 15 years in the business this author has qualifications ranging from MCSE, RHCT, Novell CNE, Qlogic CP, CCEA, VMware VCP/VCI and uses his jack of all trades master of non approach to give his extensive knowledge to a broad spectrum of requirements to understand VMware Virtual Infrastructure. He’s designed, implemented and post-supported AD/Citrix infrastructures which included hundreds of servers and thousands of users. Clients range from local council to academic institutes, large corporate to 2 men in garage companies. Ricky is employed by one of Europe’s largest virtualisation distributors Centia ltd ( a member of the Arrow Group) where he leads up the technical team whilst also delivering frequent VMware VI3 training courses. He is also the webmaster and author of www.virtualizeplanet.com. In addition Ricky has also been a speaker at the VDI road show UK 2007 as a spokesman for Leostream alongside speakers from Wyse and VMware. Ricky is frequenter of Storage EXPO, VMworld and VMWare TSX.
