Mike is a SE - Northeast for Nutanix. Previously he worked for Systems Management Planning as a Solutions Architect. SMP is listed in the top 200 VMware VARS in the Northeast, and is located in Rochester, NY. Mike has over 15 years of data center implementation and management experience, leveraging key technologies from the leading manufacturers such as Cisco, VMware, EMC, Dell, HP, Microsoft and Avaya. He has provided Presales and Post Sales engineering and architecture support and has lead dozens of projects designing, implementing, and supporting IT infrastructure from simple Virtual Infrastructure deployments to complete complex data center build-outs that contain larger enterprise Virtualized Server/Desktop infrastructure. Mike previously worked for TERACAI as a Sr. Systems Engineer, and Xerox, Managing Data Centers within the Federal Gov’t Division and Academic Financial Services Association as a Systems Implemenation Consultant, where he implemented the latest Avaya Call Center technology within the Financial Services Contact Centers. He holds current certifications as CCNA, Cisco Certified UCS Specialist, VMware VCAP5-DCA/VCAP5-DCD/VCP4/VCP5-DV/VCP5-DT/VCP5-Cloud, EMCISA, and MCP, and is currently working towards obtaining Expert level VMware Certifications. Mike enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Jamie, their teenage daughter, Gianna, and their newborn baby girl, Isabella. He also enjoys golf (not sure I would call it “enjoyment”), fishing, american muscle cars, and working on his Jeep, a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Turbo Diesel.
