I am an EMC Storage Technologist Specialist (EMCST), EMC Data Center Architect (EMCDCA), EMCElect and a VMware Certified Professional (VCP3, VCP4 and VCP5), VTSP4, VTSP5, VSP5, vExpert and have expertise in EMC SAN, NAS, Avamar, virtualization, backup and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. Currently I'm responsible for a large high-end virtualization and storage infrastructure for a mental health care organisation. In the past 5 years, I've been working intensively with redesigning Backup and Recovery, moving inactive data to another Tier layers, implementing EMC Avamar backup, introduce new NAS storage an upgrade SAN storage systems. At the same time coordinate a team to stay on the right side of the road in this misty "Cloud" landscape. Besides above I am very allround as well. Currently I am also working as an independent contractor for medium and small business to extend their business values through IT. In my opinion, decisions are often made more emotionally than rationally. Advice, therefore, must come from a trustworthy source. I am focuses specifically on the conception, design, build and organize IT challenges. Even if there is a lot of knowledge, it appears useful on a regular basis to exchange ideas with a specialist. Especially on new investments, technical decision-making processes and (re) design of your IT can be a very enlightening discussion.
