You must look into the events for the event "Remote console has been opened for this virtual machine on ...."
You don't see an entry when the remote console was closed...

Of course you can always look at the list under View -> Administration -> session. This will show you all logged in users, then you can cross reference that with the user that have permission for that VM.
Usually I wouldn't think more than 1 or 2 people from a group would be using the same VM, so hopefully that may give you a clue.
You could always terminate sessions until someone screams.. and when they do you have their attention now!
At the console run vmware-cmd <cfg> getconnectedusers
This will return the username and IP of all open console connections to the guest.
That only gives you a list on a particular host.. what if you have 20 servers in a cluster?
That can get tedious...
The question was to find the information for a specific guest, if you know the guest name then you can see what host it's on and go to it's console.
