Just wondering if there was a way to look up which patches were installed on a ESX host. Basically we had a host failure yesterday and had to rebuild the box and our documentation of installing which patches lets just say was non-exhistant
Any file that shows whats been installed by chance?

Thanks, I actually had all the patches downloaded still on my PC but wanted to make sure that it was all of them. Quick question, what does this mean:
Wrong or duplicate package versions:
VMware-esx-vmx-3.0.2-62488 (should be 3.0.2-61618)
VMware-esx-apps-3.0.2-62488 (should be 3.0.2-52542)
VMware-esx-vmkernel-3.0.2-62488 (should be 3.0.2-61618)

Here's a good patching doc that answers that question in the FAQ at the end...
