Screen copy

This is probably a really easy one. How do you do an Alt/Printscreen in VMWare Workstation to take a copy of the current screen and put into into a Word doc for user documentation??

Thanks

Thanks - that works to a fashion

Is there no way to just copy/paste to/from the clipboard like Alt/Printscreen does. Also it dumps the whole screen not just the open window

I use Gadwin Printscreen for my screen captures. It works great and is free.

I've used it within VM's with no problem.

Well, you can still Alt-PrtScr and paste into Paint inside your guest to just get an image of the focused window. Then just copy the image files to your host for your documentation.

In Workstation 6.5 you can now capture the screen directly to the clipboard by pressing CtrlAltPrintScreen. It is the whole screen though.

I use the accessibility tool on screen keyboard and do a standart Alt+PrtScn combo and open MSPaing and Ctrl +V. Works great.
