Upgrade Issue: VM Won't Power On

I keep getting one of two errors no matter what I do:

1. Operation failed because another task is in process

2. A General System Error Occured: Internal Error

These two errors are oustandingly obscure. Reminiscent of the old Dr. Watson errors.

Has anyone run into this?

I went from VC 2 to 2.5 and ESX 3.0.2 to 3.5 and two of my ESX hosts are fine. One is having this issue and all the VMs that are on it won't power up, I keep getting the same errors.

Seems like you're having problem with hardware device driver issues such as NIC, SCSI controller etc..are all ESX hosts have the same hardware platform and 2/3 is fine accept this failed? What types of upgrade procedures via CD ISO or upgrade .gz package?
