need to restart VM when connection to bellsouth ISP is interrupted

I am running VMWare Fusion 1.1 on an iMac Leopard on a wireless home network using Bellsouth router (Westel Versalink model 327W). Whenever there is a brief interruption in signal strength from the router to my Airport Card, I have to reboot the VM (Windows XP) and host computer to regain internet access through the VM. Any suggestions?

When looking through the "support" looking for my solution I read that if you upgrade Fusion (a patch) that this takes case of the problem. So look for the Patch on site and Good Luck.
