Support Dual Core?

Hello Guys please somebody tell me about if vmware esx 3.0 or 3.0i, has support in to intel core 2 duo or amd athlon x2 and or if vmware esx 3.0 or 3.0i only support installing in to phisical processors or more.

I need making one litle demonstration for my costumers to show vmware esx version and i thinking using my laptop with workstion configured with 02 processors somebody tested it?

ESX 3.0.x works fine as a WS 6 VM.

Hi Thanks for your answering, but my doubt is if vmware esx working fine a dual core processor in vmware vmworkstation 6

with a 2 processors are configured in vm.

I never used vSMP VMs inside a ESX VM and I don't think that it really will work.
