wonder if anyone has any suggestions on this
have a new environment connected to EQL SAN using ESX s/w iSCSI initiator. There is one single VM which has Oracle and is running some form of oracle import.
In VC under disk performance on hba 40 i can see a constant 20mbps disk i/o split 15mbps write and 5 mbps read
However on ESXtop under the network screen, for the vmnic associated with the iscsi iniaitor there is a constant 125mbps traffic !!!
should the figures not be closer together ? would expect some additional traffic on network for TCP overload but not 6 times
anyone got any ideas ??
