Playing Games Full-Screen

I'm a brand-new Fusion user, hoping to play some PC-Exclusive games on my MacBook Pro. My new XP Home Virtual Machine runs great, except when I try to run a game. The game will run, but the display will be less than 25% of the full screen (the rest is black). Is this a consequence of Fusion, and, if so, how can I fix it?

Is this an older game that runs at a much lower resolution than your computer's normal resolution? If so, see : Fit Full Screen.

That was the first thing I tried. Sadly, it didn't seem to change anything.

Does it work outside of the game (e.g. if you go fullscreen, then change the guest resolution, does it work)? You did restart Fusion after making the edit, right?
