HA / DRS ESX host priorty

guys... have this situation

2 Sites A & B

2 EVA arrays EVA1(site A) EVA2 (site B)

CA replicating LUNs between sites

Each site has two ESX hosts ESX1, ESX2 (siteA) ESX3, ESX4 (siteB)

Each ESX server has one lun's presented from each array (one local, one remote)

I would like HA to only locate and power up VM's on the ESX servers remote to the lun when the servers local to the LUN are not available.

I would like DRS to only locate VM's on the ESX hosts if the local ones are not available

to clarify, I need ideas to prevent the ISL connecting the two storage arrays being used unless there is no alternative.

Id really appreciate any thoughts here

Regards

You should direct this question to VM Ware. I don't think this is possible.

ALL the ESX host in the cluster can (and will) take over in case of a problem. I don't think they can actually determine which one is local to the storage.

I believe only VM Ware can help you with this problem.
