Yes, with freenas version 0.685b1
Yes, with freenas version 0.685b1
But did it work i the previous release version of freeness?
No, got some error (invalid iscsi command ??) in freenas log.
iscsi-target works fine.
Did you use a ISCSI vmfs volume or ISCSI within the vmware guest?
Well not sure about everyone else, but Free NAS never worked for us (and we have several people that know a lot about Linux).
We finally installed Suse 10 ES and that worked perfectly.
Free NAS works great for everything else BUT iSCSI, and Suse did the trick in our case. We were even able to get it work with Apple machines.
I have Openfiler setup on a pc with one 80GB SATA drive configured as a single iSCSI volume and it works very well. The PC has a gigabit nic as well as the ESX server so it's very quick.
Hello,
iSCSI did work for me in FreeNAS v 0.685b1 without any problem at all compare to the earlier version i use.
Thanks for the help!
