We are getting some very strange errors on the consoles for two of our blade centers. These are both IBM models talking to DS-4800s and are patched and current to the latest service level, including BIOS.
The message at the console for both says:
EXT2-fs warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended[/i]
I know it is suggesting to run a filesystem check but what does the "maximal mount..." thing mean? Is it out of the linux version of i-nodes???? It also goes on to report:
sdn: status = 1, message = 00, host = 0, driver = 08
Additional sense indicates Medium not present
adn: block size assumed to be 512 bytes, disk size 1GB
I/O error: dev 08:d0, sector 0
unable to read partition table[/i]
then this repeats?
Everything "seems" ok...but is it really?
Thanks, Chad
