Unexpected Customization Error When Deploying VM from Template

This template and customization setup has been used numerous times in the past. Any ideas why I am getting the "A general system error occured: unexpected customization error" alert?

The creation gets to 98 or 99% before failing.

Can you deploy this template without customization?

Have you reviewed the customization settings to ensure nothing has changed?

Look at /var/log/vmkernel and /var/log/messages for any issues with the deployment.

I was able to deploy without the customization. Not really sure which vmkernal or messages file to look at.

Hello,

Using the Service Console you can look at the files /var/log/vmkernel and /var/log/messages, I would also look at /var/log/vmware/hostd.log

You could get access to some of these through the VI Client but I prefer the service console.

If you create a new customization does it work? Do not clone but create a new one.

I'm an idiot. I installed VCB on our virtualcenter server and screwed it all up. I uninstalled VCB and did a VC repair. All better.
