Yeah, being in the USAF (ANG), I learned what true sacrifice was.
We didn't have any cable TV in our hotel rooms, while the Marines were "on the ground", the Army was overhead in helicopters, and the Navy was somewhere offshore.
Yes, I too remember the days of being deployed and having to "share" a hotel room with a fellow airman, tough times, rough times. We had helicopters though.
I'm a Senior NCO! We get our own rooms...
Yeah, I was stuck "sharing" with the kegs of beer, another sacrifice of a lowly airman.
