Shared iPad for Business

Has anyone that is running WS1 UEM v2007 implemented Shared iPad for Business?

We're looking for a way to have multiple people use the same iPad with the MS Teams app installed.  We do not want User B to see User A's Teams data when User B logs in.

We're really hoping Shared iPad for Business solves this headache.

Thanks,

teckler - this is how Apple's Shared iPad for Business is designed.   Each user gets their own APFS partition and the OS dynamically links writeable storage locations to that partition.   While the Teams app will remain installed, each user should see different things (as well as need to log-in to Teams).

Terrific and thanks for the reply!

Now... has anyone got this up and running in WS1 UEM?

One of the big challenges with using this new "Shared IPad for Business" is that it requires Managed Apple IDs and in most cases means federating your Apple Business Manager with Azure AD for new apple IDs.  In doing this you have to ask anyone who created an existing AppleID with your company's email address to change it to something else.  That's a big challenge in many large organizations.... We are testing it but not ready to tackle federating our domain and making everyone change their Apple ID from our company email.  That whole switch has other complications too....  But agree fundamentally that this is good for companies in better using iPads.  BTW - we call it "Multi-User iPads". Shared iPads is what we call what we have today - we setup an iPad with a generic ID and many people in Manufacturing share it.
