ML inside Workstation VMs

I'd like to do machine learning inside a Workstation VM.  Host is Windows 10 2004.  I grant there's a settings check-box to accelerate 3d graphics, but this isn't the GPU use I'm thinking of.  How do I enable my laptop's second GPU for use by a VM for non-GUI tasks?

Workstation Pro does not support GPU/PCIe device passthrough to the VM.

For GPU passthrough, the VMware product that supports that is ESXi but the supported GPUs are limited (such as expensive Nvidia Quadro line). Consumer GPUs such as Nvidia GeForce cards not supported. You might find on the internet and on this forum some people having some measure of success in passing through GeForce cards to ESXi VMs but YMMV.
