Question VCP-DCV 2020

Is the VMware vSphere 6.7 Foundations exam a mandatory prerequisite to pass the VCP-DCV 2020 certification?

Review the requirements here: VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2020 (VCP-DCV 2020)

Select either of the top 2 paths:

In summary:

  • If your Professional exam will be on 6.7, then yes you must also pass a Foundations exam and attend either 6.7 or 7.0 training
  • If your Professional exam will be on 7.0, there is no Foundations exam but you must attend 7.0 training

Hi Scott,

Ok thank you I had a doubt. I have just completed a course in 7.0 so I will not pass the foundation certification.
