WMware doesn't see the USB Storage connected to my MAC

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro Catalina 10.15.3, I am using WMware Fusion Professional Version 11.0.3 to run Windows 10 x64 on the Mac.

I need to be able to open a USB Drive (storage medium) on the Windows, because I need to install a Programm that is on the USB device and runs only on Windows.

Could someone explain how give the authority to the Windows to open or even see the USB Device?

Just attach the USB device to the guest.  This will disconnect it from the Mac host and connect it to the Windows guest, where it will see the new removable drive, and you can open Explorer and browse to the USB drive and run the setup program.  When done, disconnect the drive from the guest - which will reconnect it to the host.

Thank you. What does it mean to attach the usb to the guest? I am using the VMware for the very first time and don't have a big picture of this software.
