WS1 "Enterprise App Repository"

So I noticed this is now an option to load Native App's. One question I have is why are the apps not updated. Adobe Reader is at version 15!! This is a bit of a security concern. I know patches can be added later but I think this feature needs to be thought out more or am I over reacting to this?

Is there an answer as to why Acrobat is still so out of date (and maybe other applications found in the enterprise app repository)?
