OK people, what's the maximum uninterrupted uptime you've had for a host?
From my side, we have an ESX v2.5.2 host in our test lab which is currently showing 338 days (and yes, it does have some VMs running on it!)
Anyone better that?
Chris
Doubt your find many uptime stats like this, VI3 is now fully pledged in most houses and also they have soooooooooo many patches at the moment.
I had a ESX 2 host up for about 250ish days.
True, although some might have "don't touch it if it ain't broken" approach to ESX patching :smileyshocked:)
I had a bad situation where I could not easily take either of my 2 hosts down due to VM load (20+ VMs per host) and VM uptime requirements. Unfortunately as such I could not take either server down for maintenance and patching. A situation that i did not like to be in, but one server was at 525 days and the second was at 536. The arrival of new hosts and the migration to VI3 let to their retirement and you can bet that I won't get into that scenario again.
Mike
too many b*gs in VI 3 for me not to patch

vmware host?
i had some >1 year of uptime - with workstation on it.
if "any" is allowed instead:
2386 days :smileyalert: for some old solaris box .....
ESXi 6.0 host is at 198 days, then I have several more at 188 days
3x ESXi 6.0 GA cluster, 1331 days. One of them some less because of RAM failure (IBM servers).
