App Vol 4.1 JMP implementation

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone know if AppVol 4.1 will be implemented in JMP configuration and use in JMP Assignments in Horizon admin. We have working 2.18 environment in our Horizon 7.12  and is very helpful when dealing with assignments to a different departments.

I have upgraded to 4.1 in our TEST environment, but couldn't find a way to register in JMP configuration.

That seems to be a limitation of Horizon. 

From the release notes, Release Notes for VMware Horizon 7 version 7.12 .

"JMP Server supports VMware App Volumes 2.14 or later, but not App Volumes 4.0. To use JMP Server, you must install an App Volumes 2.xx version that is 2.14 or later."

I've been waiting for AppVol 4 to be supported in JMP as well.

That is not going to happen. JMP is no longer available in Horizon 8 according to the Release notes:

I just saw that the other day too.

Looks like JMP is being replaced with Multi-cloud Assignments (MCA).
