Block Personal Apple ID

Hi All

I have a customer that wants to ensure that their staff do not enter a personal apple id into their iPhones.

All apps are via VPP and have a profile with the home screen layout in addition to blocking all the apple apps like Appstore, music iCloud etc.

The devices are all supervised. Does anyone know if this is possible as I cant seem to find a way to block it?

Since your devices are supervised, the easiest and quickest way is to uncheck 'Allow account modification' in the restriction payload of a device profile.

This also means, however, your users won't be able to configure the mail account manually either. But I assume you would push the mail profile linked to your corporate email environment to these devices anyway.

Thanks again chengtmskcc for the reply.

So if I uncheck that, will the user be able to enter the password for their mail account?

Depending how your mail profile is configured, the general answer is 'yes'.
