Compliance check fails - where to get more details

We're just deploying WS1 to our environement and we've setup some basic compliance checks for Windows 10 machines to verify that the Windows FW is enabled and that a Virus Scanner is present. The rules look like this:

AntiVirus STatus is Good

Firewall Status is Good

The both fail on all machines, even machines that we've pushed a profile of enforcing the windows firewall on.

How can we troubleshoot why these checks are failing?

Just realized that the Summary Tab for each device has a firewall and AV status as depicted below

Which begs the question, why are you able to create a basic compliance check in the first place if the platform is already doing it and why does the compliance check fail when the platform check works appropriately?
