I want to increase the CPU count to 4 for Teams users. Is there a preference in which way is done? Does it matter?
Thanks
Leave cores per processor at 1 and just do sockets. Unless you have licensing restrictions in general its better to always leave cores per socket to 1.6.5 and above should adjust the underlying number nodes automatically

Thanks for replying.
As in the pic below? Why does it have a warning? This is for just plain VDI and no licensing restrictions.
Thanks
What version of esxi are you using and what is the guest os of the virtual desktop?
VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 15160138 Windows 10 1803, 64-bit
My mistake the numa autosizing only works on VM creation by default, you can see it in action if you create a new VM and just change the socket settings. If it doesn't change automatically you have an advanced variable set somewhere. In general you need to keep it under two sockets for windows 10 so basically if you have and even number of cpus do two sockets(so with 4 its two sockets with 2 cores)
OK, that looks like my first screen shot. Thanks
