vCenter Login

Hi,

vCenter 5.5, Windows Server 2008, Physical box (dont ask, first time looking at this), rebooted the server and its now not allowing me to login to the server. not the Domain account and nor the Administrator@vSphere.local account... the fat client and weblient, cant even get to the login page for the web client, i'm getting a SSO error, 503. page unavailable, has anyone ever seen this before?

Questions: If SSO is built in, then should there be an SSO service running in services?

I can log on to the server it self, but not vCenter, is there any way of knowing what the SSO if its external?

the system is old, no documentation and no one seems to know anything...

thank you in advance

How large / complex is your environment?

Do you know the root log in for the hosts?

I'd be tempted to roll out a new 6.5 vCenter appliance and add the hosts into that and start afresh.

Will make the path to upgrading to a supported solution easier in the long run too.

HI,

can you access in the "VAMI" interface?

"Https://ipvcenter> or <FQDN>:5480"

You are using a very old and unsupported version of vCenter server, I suggest to don't waste your time for Tshooting this problem, and upgrade vSphere to at least version 6.5 ...
