Currently we have a VMware cluster which has been configured by CAS, but it needs to be reconfigured to support our Microsoft SPLA licensing. As an example we have 1 cluster which is used to host both Windows & Linux VMs. We have limited Microsoft licenses & SPLA licensing requires that we create separate clusters to host Windows VMs only. There seems to be problems with cloud automation when moving hosts between Clusters and that move is blocked. Is there something I am missing here?
Ultimately the goal of course is to avoid licensing fees and so we are wondering if there may be a workaround for this?
