What is the PNID of your vCSA?
/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vmafd-cli get-pnid --server-name localhost
You can set the hostname that matches with PNID using /opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net
- The entry for h-i-al-19-sw02.intranet.hyperic.net is probably due to some need by internal components' monitoring requirements. Or possibly a safeguard in case the EpOps agent gets installed (reuses Hyperic code).
- You should not modify /etc/hosts by hand as it will get overwritten.
- If you have added more NICs to your vCSA, you have done something that is unsupported if not on 7.0 and could cause your vCenter to break in the future.
