Esxi 6.7 host patching

Hi All,

Can we patch to latest version instead of installing the  previous patch versions

For example :
My esxi current build is

Yes, patches are cumulative.

There may be some things to consider, e.g.:

  • has the host been installed using a customized vendor image?
  • how do you plan to update/patch the host?

Yes it is Dell customized Esxi host..

In this case consider using the latest Dell offline bundle to patch the host.

Vendors usually support "default" patches only within a given Update release, and you are going from U2 to U3.
