Habe hier einen HP ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Proliant 10 seit einiger Zeit mit mehreren
VM's am laufen.... ich wollte nun den USB Passthru Aktivieren, weil dieser benötigt wird.
Manage > Hardware > PCI-Devices
"C620 Series Chipset Family USB 3.0 xHCI Controller > Not Capable"
Esxi6.Name - Version: 6.7.0 Update 2 (Build 13006603) - Uptime 377.13 days
In der CLI sehe ich die lokalen Devices die am Server direkt angeschlossen sind.
[root@namederdomain:~] esxcli hardware usb passthrough device list
Bus Dev VendorId ProductId Enabled Can Connect to VM Name
--- --- -------- --------- ------- ----------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 4 4e8 61b5 true yes Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd M3 Portable Hard Drive 4TB
1 3 bda 329 true yes Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
Der eine "USB Contoller" ist der VM angehängt aber ist hellgrau und kann nichts daran gemacht werden.
Ein "USB-Device" anzuhöngen ist nicht möglich da dies hellgrau erscheint.
[root@namederdomain:~] chkconfig --list | grep -i usb
usbarbitrator on
Wäre doch froh um etwas rat.

please now i need to Enable the "USB Passthru"

The "USB Controller" it's attached to my VM machine, but appair grayed out.
The "USB-Device" Addon arnt possibile to add then this appair also grayed out.
[root@namefromdomain:~] chkconfig --list | grep -i usb
usbarbitrator on
