Mac Mini crashes 10 minutes after booting Windows 7 VM in VMware

I have completey uninstalled and reinstalled VMWare fusion. Checked all the VM settings and everything is normal. I will load my application from Unity and after about 10 minutes the entire Mac Mini will shut down. Any ideas?

Mac Mini is running Catalina 10.15.4

Hi,

Subject line says "crash", text in your opening post says "shut down".

Those are not the same thing, so please define what you mean by "shut down".

Is there an error screen?

Does it only happen with this VM?

How did you configure the VM (nr. vCPU, RAM etc..)..

What is the config of your mac mini?

Are you using a eGPU?

FWIW the times when I have seen a VM crashing a host was usually due to host hardware failure.

For example RAM. I suggest running a hardware check.
