Horizon View freezes and closes after 2 minutes

Hi,

I am testing my VDI environment and I found a little issue. So for my problem, when I am connected to desktop from the desktop pool with VMware Horizon Client and I shutdown my ESXI host, the Horizon View freezes for about ~2 minutes and than it closes.

I want to know if this time can be shortened ?

Take a look VMware Knowledge Base

You can try setting the power policy to 'Take no power action' under desktop pool setting and see if it helps to reduce the time. Power Policies for Desktop Pools

Hi Shreyskar, thanks for answering, but in the desktop pool settings I only see :

• Automatically logoff after disonnect.
• Allow users to restart/reset their machines.
• Allow users to initiate separate desktop sessions from different client devices (desktops only).

Can't find Remote Desktop Power Policy...
