I have recently updated my display to DELL U2720Q and replaced MS wireless keyboard with Apple's magic keyboard and i have a feeling this is somehow connected, i do not think i have had similar issues previously.
Very often it happens when i switch from host screen to guest in full-size mode. Host OS is 10.14.6 and guest is Windows 7.
It started to happen with Fusion 11.4, i then updated but it did not fix.
I will try to attach the log files here.
Thats pretty annoying and a big issue for the productivity.
Please help!
Thanks,
Eugene.
Okay, looks like i got it fixed.
I switched back to using 2GB of RAM for VM (have 8GB in total), and upgraded hardware version from 8 to 16.
As to the cores, i have 4 physical in total and 2 allocated to VM.
Just to make sure...Guest OS hangs and then shuts down. Seems like this issue has been reported previously many times.
I tried to add the config setting for keyboard that was mentioned in one of the replies, no luck.
Please fix the subject - "guest" instead of "guess".

You can do this yourself by editing your first post.
I've done it for you this time (as a moderator)
I have noticed the following. The freeze of guest has something to do with a time the VM was sitting idle.
Lets say i startup VM and i then use the mouse to switch between host and VM screen in full-size mode. It goes perfectly, in both sides.
Now after 5 minutes working in a host environment, i again try to switch. The guest screen starts to appear on the right side, then goes a pause of about 5 seconds,
and then it finishes switching, yet with a noticeable delay.
Now lets say i step away, then get back, login to host and try to use the mouse gesture to switch to guest. Now it hangs completely and shuts down.
Some more info...Actually quite often the host freeze as well and i have to hard-reset the machine.
Just now when the guest Win7 again got frozen, i got a message that "The virtual machine is unable to reserve memory".
This VM has 4GB RAM allocated and the total installed on host is 8GB. I tried to Retry and got it shut down.
So....any ideas??????????
How many cores in the host and guest? The rule of thumb is no more than N-1 cores per guest where N is the number of physical (not virtual) cores.

Very cool, glad it's working!
