high Latency between 2 VMs on same hosts

Hello Team,

There are two VMs which are part of same VLAN on same esxi host but intermittently we are getting high latency between them how we can troubleshoot the same.

What is your definition of “high” latency, and what is the difference in stats between this “high” and what you would expect?

Also, what is the host and VM CPU usage when your latency is “high” and when it is as you would expect?

ping latency is 300+,500+,1100+ then again it become normal less than 1ms, after 3-4mins again there is spike in ping on both VMs, but we have other VMs from same VLAN where we don't see any issue

Also, what is the host and VM CPU usage when your latency is “high” and when it is as you would expect?

Host CPU usage is 325-30% and Memory utilization is 40-50%
