AppVolumes 2.18 / get Edge Chromium extensions working

Hello,

I try to get Edge Chromium extensions on Windows 10 working. I always get the error "COULD_NOT_GET_TEMP_DIRECTORY" when i try to install an extension.

We are using writeable volumes uia+profile. If i assing a driveletter to the writeable, the installation of extensions works fine.

So i tried to set the "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\svdriver\Parameters\DriveLetterSettings" to the value "2". This should assign a driveletter to the writeable but nothing happens. (I also tried with value "6" --> assign but hide)

Does anyone have a solution for this.

Markus

Here is the answer from the Support and it´s working fine. I just want to share with you.

Add the following registry on the Parent machine and then take a snapshot to recompose , test again

Key : HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\svdriver\Parameters
Name : HookInjectionWhitelist
Type : REG_MULTI_SZ

Adding *msedge.exe ||* to the last entry of value.
